YUYANG Adds a Second Microwave Vulcanization Line to Raise Sealing Strip Capacity

Hebei Yuyang Auto Parts Co., Ltd. has commissioned a second microwave vulcanization line at its Qinghe plant, raising daily sealing-strip output by roughly 60%. The line is equipped with an inline laser diameter gauge and a profile projector station, allowing dimensional checks without stopping production.

"Lead time is part of the product," said the company's production manager. "Customers in the aftermarket reorder in small batches and need them fast. With two lines we can keep standard profiles in semi-finished stock and cut emergency orders down to about ten days."

The investment also covers a new co-extrusion head, enabling dense-carrier-plus-sponge-bulb and metal-insert profiles that previously had to be outsourced. The company plans to add a third line if export demand continues at the current rate.

YUYANG supplies rubber and silicone sealing strips, hoses and moulded parts to vehicle and equipment manufacturers including BYD, SAIC Maxus, Sinotruk, FAW, Dayun, Skywell and Zongshen.
